Cable Find

I have been lucky enough to source some new, but old stock reels of rare high quality speaker cable.  There is:

  • Kelvin Audio K19
  • Kelvin Audio K80
  • MIT Zap3

The K19 looks very much like Naim NAC-A5 in a different jacket and the K80 was Kelvin’s rival to QED 79 strand.  Rumour has it that the Kelvin cables were made in the same factory as the Naim and Linn ones ;-).  The Zap3 is more of a rare beast and was produced by high-end cable manufacturer Musical Interface Technologies in the early 90’s.

I’ll post more details and pictures of these soon, but plan to sell them as terminated and unterminated lengths to suit your requirements.  They will be listed at a reasonable price.  In the meantime if you want to know more send an e-mail to sales@maudifi.uk.

Hello Music Lovers!

Want to feel the passion of beautifully recreated music in your home? You may feel that the cost of a high-end music system to achieve that is outwith your budget.  However, you may be mistaken.

There are budget systems available that can start to unveil the music and great used bargains to be had on ebay and elsewhere.  From there the opportunities are endless and with modestly priced equipment with some choice modifications and upgrades you can have a truly involving musical experience in your own home.

Forget the high-street and popular household name manufacturers.  There is a large industry of “real” hifi manufacturers out there and you don’t need to be a beardy hifi nerd, or have the deepest pockets to enjoy music on a completely different level.
